Castle (now Rheingauer Museum) and vineyard and Rhine River in Rudesheim, Germany
On September 6, 2015, we toured the Rheingauer Weinmuseum (Wine Museum of the Rhinegau Region). The Rheingau is a world-reknown vineyard region along the north bank of the Rhine River, between Weisbaden and Lorch. This museum is located in Rudesheim, Germany, right on the Rhine River, near St. Hildegard’s Abbey. Amazing collection of artifacts and history of the wine industry with excellent English digital tour device given to each person upon entry. Highly recommended! The view from the top of the castle tower are alone worth the cost of admission (5 euros/person).
