Water Paths

The spiritual life flows like water paths in a mountain stream. Without a connection to clouds, to glaciers, to mountain springs, or to snowfield melt, a mountain stream dries up. When our spiritual life is unhealthy or empty, our life becomes like a dry stream bed devoid of water where very little grows. A spiritual life that is healthy and full experiences an unceasing flow of pure, refreshing water coming through our life from above, water that brings life and renewal in and out of seasons.
